The Furthering Community Unity (FCU) Team powered by Shell Federal Credit Union is in their fifth year serving their community and they couldn’t be more excited. To date the FCU team has raised over $63,697 and donated 6,464 hours to the community.

The Furthering Community Unity (FCU) Team powered by Shell Federal Credit Union concluded 2012 assisting various organizations during the holiday season.
In 2012, Shell FCU celebrated 75 years of serving Houston’s banking needs with monthly cash prizes and giveaways. As part of its 75 Year milestone, Shell FCU gave back over a million dollars in 1% cash back on auto loans along with low rates and 75 day deferred payments.
The Deer Park Police Department is hosting an Electronic Recycling Day on January 19, 2013. They will be accepting old/unused electronics from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Everyone is encouraged to stop by and drop off all their old electronics.
The Furthering Community Unity (FCU) Team powered by Shell Federal Credit Union partnered up with the East Harris County Empowerment Council (EHCEC) over the Thanksgiving holiday to help supply ‘Thanksgiving Dinner’ baskets to more than 35 families in the Galena Park ISD community.
