Have you ever been waiting in line for that fresh coffee to help you get your day started and after you order, money in hand ready to pay, the cashier tells you that the person before you paid for your coffee? Then you look back expecting to see that person so you can say thank you but they are gone.
A tiny deed like that is going to stay in your head all day making you think, “wow that was really nice of that person” but it is up to you to continue on with the deed. Do you want it to stop with you or are you going to do the same for the person waiting behind you? Before you make your discussion let the FCU Team help you understand what paying it forward really is.

It is a type of act or event that starts with one person doing something and creating a domino effect that ends with lots of other people continuing on with the deed.
Pay it forwards can be things such as paying the toll for the car behind you at the toll booth or even buying the person behind you in line their lunch.
You don’t even have spend money to pay it forward you can give a smile to a stranger and that person might pass that smile on or you can offer to let someone in front of you while waiting in line.
So if it ever happens to you keep it going, see how much of a difference you can make in someone else’s day. Challenge your friends and family to pay it forward with you. Make your goal at least twice a day or twice a week.
